I adopted Ol' Zeke back in June of this year while at the summer RTR... Bob and I traveled down to Fresno to pick him up... He is 10 months old now but is filling the bill as my best friend, camp guardian, and best friend to Homer (Bobs buddy) to a Tee... Zeke is my perfect traveling buddy also, he always points out and keeps at bay every Cow, Horse, Dog, Goat or anything on 4 legs that he see's in our travels... I had a Bear coming into camp the other night and Zeke met him and held his ground till I came on scene and moved the Bear along with a blast of my .44mag, so he is worth his weight in gold to me... Here is a pic of Zeke, taken in Shaver Lake CA while re-supplying my water...

Nice looking dog! Our furry friends are the best companions we could have, IMO.

PS: What is that thing on your roof?? A solar panel?

What ever is on your roof sure must give you plenty of shade!!! Zeke is so cute!!! They really are the best.

It looks like an aluminum dock without the floats, or those ramps to load cars on trailers.

Hello Zeke... such a pretty dog!!

No everyone that on his roof is a dance floor for parties!! LOL

HuggZ

I bet Zeke never imagined the great life he must be having. Dogs like this win the lottery. It so sad to see dogs in back yards never to really experience much. My dogs ALWAYS went everywhere with me. The Van is like a movable den so they never lose that security that they seem to need.

Zeke is extremely happy, he has his side of the mountain to play explore and watch over... Added to that he has his 4 buddies to play with ( Homer, Tony, Savannah, and Rain) which either we see them or they come visit my camp... I chatted with Bob in depth about partnering up with a furry friend... We talked about the pro's, cons, cost and responsibility of it, the biggest factor was to give them the best life they would never get but in this life style...

With me he had to travel well, be a guardian of the camp not an attack dog and the final thing was i had to have an Aussie-Border collie mix ... Then there was Zeke's intro picture in which I fell in love with...

Zeke's adoption photo, 7-8 months old...
