I usually go out about once or twice a year to "camp". By camp I mean rent a cabin. Just made reservations for Sept. They have their appreciation weekend. Stay Fri the 15th and get 16th free. Saves me a bundle. and kids will be back in school.

I need my own RV now.

I've only stayed in one KOA and that was years ago.

I have looked at the website lately and it looks like a lot of them cater to families...nothing wrong with that if you like all the noise...

I don't go often, but when I do I go in the off season or when they're having their appreciation specials.
Last time I was there I got half off my cabin rent. I think it was right around Valentines day and the place was a ghost town... Just the way I like it.
