If you use the luggable loo 5 gallon bucket toilet seat (https://www.amazon.com/sie=UTF8&page=1&rh=i:aps,k:5 Gallon Bucket Toilet Seat), you can get extra height by nesting an extra bucket or two.  Sometimes they get stuck together, though, as I discovered after not thoroughly washing a few from a food vendor out before reusing.

Hey Roaming Kat, I do get over that way on occasion. I actually just got back from my annual hunting trip in the West Elk Wilderness last night. I'll let you know if I head that way again before RTR. I don't mind driving the passes even in the snow, but I've lived at 7500 feet for 25 years and have a truck that handles it well. I was terrified when I first moved here from Southern California!

If you get a 7 gallon bucket for a porta potty, the extra height makes a huge difference in comfort!
These are about 20" tall.

6 gallon buckets are a bit shorter, around 17"

5 gallon buckets are about 15" tall.

You can buy them.......

Or locate a used one. Sometimes Vendors package items in them such as paint, pickles, etc.

I never realized they made a 7 gallon bucket, height is a big deal for someone my size.

Same here, although I'm only 5'10", I have one leg that doesn't bend very much so the extra height would be great!

Masterplumber.... Give me a heads up. I look forward to it. I might be asking expert advise on the rebuild....RV set to arrive end of this week!

As for th "comfort" height on a bucket...I am impressed. Where do they sell? Not the typical HD "homer" bucket...eh?
