One of the long time personalities, he will be missed. I know I was already thinking of him this coming RTR.

My sincere sympathies and best wishes to you and his family. I never met him to shake his hand but he seemed like the kind of guy I would have liked to know.

Fair Winds and Following Seas, Jay. RIP

Jay was so helpful at my first RTR. I took his advice and I have no regrets. He was so friendly to everyone. Truly an asset to the tribe and the world. Rest in Peace my Friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Margie.............may the Great Spirit comfort your Heart.

I just found this thread this morning and am so sad to not get to say goodbye to Jay. What a character. We loved Jay and love you Margie. I'm so sorry for your loss.
The thing that was so awesome about you guys is the way that you welcome everybody in withouth question. Always willing to give and share and looking for nothing in return. That's what we love so much about this tribe.
Margie I don't know what your plans are but i hope we get to see you again in our travels. All our love.

Margie, I am so sad to hear this, and extend my deepest condolences. I really enjoyed talking with you and Jay at RTR. Jay will be missed by so many. I hope we still get to see you at gatherings. God Bless.

  Dear Margie,  I will be forever grateful to you and Jay for taking me under your wings when I came out there.

Thank you for making my tribe dreams come true and for the very many things you folks taught me.   You always treated me with kindness and respect.   I love you, Margie.  And I loved Jay, too.

Best wishes always,

Pam

I just noticed this and want to extend my condolences to you Margie and all that were close to him. Hate to not meet him as I was just getting used to his posts and personality.

My first year in Ehrenberg, I was talking to Jay.  I had found a shiny quartz rock with deep black streaks.  I asked Jay what it was.

"Leaveitrite."

"What?"

"Leave it right there. Just another rock"

:D

Margie, I just saw this,
Please accept my deepest condolences.
You and Jay are in my prayers.

Condolences Margie, we never met in person but I enjoyed the correspondence on here.

My sister Pebbles and Lord asked me to pass along their love and condolences also.

Jay was one of the most helpful, encouraging souls I know.  I will miss him dearly.  The Vandwelling Community will miss him dearly.  My heart goes out to you Margie, as well as to the rest of us who will be feeling his loss.  And Margie, I sure hope I get to see you this winter to share some hugs and memories of Jay in person.   Oh, I can only imagine the joy when he and Bindi reunited.

I'm not a nomad (though I lurk wistfully) and don't know Jay or any of you personally....but I add my condolences to the grief and loss felt by those that knew and loved him. <3
