Hi everybody -- The wind has hit 30 mph here at our house in south central Colorado, and the temps are dropping. We're barely on the edge of the storm zone, but it's already affected our departure date. When our housesitter told us he couldn't be ready till next week, that was fine with us, not eager to set out in record cold! Will give us time to tweak a few more things... My husband got our solar panels securely installed on the roof just in time...

Not here in North Florida. Low temps according to the Weather Guessers for the coming week will be down to the low-mid thirties at night - which we have already seen a few nights. Personally I like it. November should be chilly.

Hit here late in the evening last night. Broke a limb...errr.. really, half a tree off with the wind. It fell collapsing half of the wire fencing that is around the deck that keeps the pooches in. Thank goodness it missed all the wood decking and railing. Could have been upset (I know my lil rat terrier is, how dare it do that in 'her' yard!!), but looking at the huge limb we though 'Hmmm... firewood!" haha

Hit the teens early this morning here in Lubbock Texas! Gonna be in the low 20's (for the lows) for the next week or and a half to two weeks, and highs will be varied from low 30's to low 50's.

Wind hit about 50mph last night and wiped out my neighbors thanksgiving decorations!

I've got two Aladdin heaters. One is the, oh so hard to find, Tropic (small) and the other is the TempRite9 for colder weather.

42 deg North, east coast. Today, foggy, real foggy, lots of crashes. Yesterday was in the upper 60's. Today predicted to be 70. Then steady down into the 40's during the day. Nights getting below freezing. I have a 3000btu Coleman Catalytic heater with a built in fan. Toasty in the van. Beach day this afternoon.

Dang, Arizona is sounding pretty nice right now! Here in Hood River, Oregon, it's 27, snowing and not expected to get above 38 in the next week!
I'll be living in my rig starting April and I think I'm going to winter in either Arizona or Baja.

hasnt been too bad, yesterday was the coldest down in the 20s with strong wimd but today it was pretty warm actually. its chilly now tho, got the heat on...probably in high 30s low 40s outside.

Was snowing Thursday in the wee hours on our way to the hospital (what a miserable day) but barely laid and it's snowing right now with blowing wind. This is my last winter in a snow area.

I left Michigan just as the storm was starting to hit. Called my parents the day I arrived in SC to hear that there was already six inches of snow with ten more on the way! It's 50+ degrees F here in Mt. Pleasant, SC at the moment. But from what I gathered from the almanac, this is just a brief cold period, with the weather typically hanging around 70F.

After having lived through 23 winters in MI, the warm winter is definitely welcome.
