i've never met a l6 i didnt like,dodge slant and gm 250&292 infact built the crap out of a 250,scored a custom head,headers and offenhauser 4 barrel intake,thing was awesome just never had the right vehicle for it and ended up selling it to a guy with a 58? chevy truck

300 straight 6 is a great motor. If you take care of it, you can easily get 500,000 miles out of one. The only reason it was discontinued was because Ford could not meet the more stringent EPA standards with it. Stupid .gov. That engine was way more reliable than any stupid politician will ever be.
