I have a twin size adjustable bed from Ikea. They don't sell them anymore. It has a wood frame and wood slats that sits into a metal twin bed frame. With a bit of wood working it could even be narrowed in width. But it is in Seattle and I will be using it until I go on the road around November 1st. Not in perfect condition but it still adjust nicely and the motor is still strong. Head raises, it also raises at the knee area.Cammalu said:Qxxx. We have thought over every possibility. The RV we are in is a great rig and really well designed but not for two old farts that aren’t in the best of shape. It has a corner bed that’s comfy but not for two as one would have to crawl over the other to use the bathroom at night. Also with Johns awful back he sleeps in a recliner as he can’t sleep flat.
I want to rectify that by getting a rig big enough to put in an adjustable bed of some kind for him. It’s going to have to be a big rig for that.
We just aren’t willing or able to compromise comfort any longer. It’s too hard on us.
So a big rig it is. I also don’t want to have to stop and get out and walk to my “home” is why a Class A is probably going to be in the picture.
Plus there is his tool stash and my sewing stuff stash we need storage for.
