He's actually got a decent solar setup that will run everything except the AC. I've looked at the van with the thought of seeing if off-grid AC was even possible, and concluded that it really isn't, for a number of reasons.
With all the add-on features and custom stuff going into that genny system, I think I came up with a total cost in the $5,000 ballpark. I actually have his old, modified genny...the Honda is a huge upgrade. TBH, I really don't want the thing, so if anyone needs a genny, swing by KW
