I made freezer jam, it's so good!

Strawberries are in season, so I made 5 batches of freezer jam.  It's really just flavored sugar, 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of smashed strawberries.  I'm not sure what I'll do with it when I'm back on the road, it has to stay frozen.

com'on bruce you got to give us more than that, lol. did you have to cook it? like apple pie filling. how did it turn out? can you use it like strawberry jam? spread it on toast like jam? here where I am at strawberry season is over, however olallie berries are going strong. highdesertranger
