After everyone helped me with installing my fuse box, I put the bus-bar on for all my grounds as I was told to do.
I have my LED lights hooked up to it, and two 12v sockets.

Tonight, I made coffee with my Roadpro.  :D

I also put toggle switches because I was concerned about always plugging and unplugging the 12v appliances.

My next projects I want to do the PMF roof (with a spot in the back to hide a couple propane tanks in a sort of 'pocket' on the roof.
and also upgrade my electric, I've seen a rather complicated looking set of instructions that teaches how to make an energy efficient fridge. I'd really really really like to do this next because its' very difficult to cook for one with the road pro and not waste food. I just need to make sure I have the electrical power for it first :)

Thank you everyone.  Love you people

Wow, yeah, $200 is cheap!! Each I've seen til now is like $500-600.... can we trust a $200 fridge.... I'll have to check reviews

It's not just whether or not you can trust a $200. compressor fridge when all the others are in the 5 to 6 hundred dollar range.

It's about the size of the thing. That one is a whole 15 Litres, that's going to take about a 12 pack of beer and not much more.

I run a 65 qt (about 61.5 liters) and for several days after shopping day I have to have a masters in packing.... :D Right now you couldn't get a slice of bologna in it, it's packed so full.

That thing is one seriously small cooler!

Take some cardboard and build a box the size of the *inside* of it and see whether you can fit everything you think you want in it.

How adorable is that little fridge!! haha that is so great!

And good job wiring up your system! :D And the roadpro stuff is great. I cooked rice in mine and it cost pennies to eat. Really awesome.

Yes it is small. It was posted as an **example** of a compressor fridge as opposed to a peltier type cooler. However. If I could not raise $500 plus for a larger unit, this would keep food and milk safe. It could later be used as a freezer in addition to a refrigerated box. NLM

I just ordered the 20 liter one. I know it's small but it's in my budget and better than nothing at this point. I think I annoy the butcher when I ask for half to one pound of beef or chicken just to cook for one day ;)

Hah, I often go to the deli in a supermarket and get "four slices" of cheese and lunchmeat--just enough for a couple sandwiches.  ;)

Where the heck do you live where you order raw chicken direct from a "butcher"?

Last thirty years places I've lived you either pick it up out of a display case, or haggle with the lady in an outdoor fresh market, never in between.

The question should be more like "Where do you live that there isn't a grocery store that has a meat counter?"

Even the town of a 1000 that I used to live in had an IGA affiliate with a meat cutter  who could and would split packages for me when asked and a butcher shop. The closest city of 15G population had at least 2 full serve butcher shops and probably 3 grocery stores with meat dept staff ready and willing to sell you unpackaged meat out of the butcher counter and cut specific cuts as needed.

Even the Albertsons' in Blythe has a butcher counter as does the grocery store beside K--Mart. Smart and Final does not!

At least one of the small grocery stores in Quartzite has a butcher counter.

Come to think of it, they're everywhere.... :D

I live in New Jersey. Butchers are all over out here. Meat is fresher, better. There are options out here as well to get milk, cheese, meat eggs, etc right on the farms. I've been considering finding one that sells eggs without refrigeration but it's illegal out here. Anyway, I got a fridge coming.

It would be better if I could cut the end and put it directly on the fuse box. Anything I have to worry about when I do that? Just positive to box, ground to ground, correct? Should I put an inline fuse?

You have to identify the positive wire, the one that goes to the center pin on the plug. That wire goes to a fuse on your fuse panel. The other wire goes to the negative. For the fridge I would use a direct to the battery negative rather than a chassis return. (return = ground) (ground = negative) I think you have that with your negative buss. Connect negative there. If you are not connecting to a fuse panel, yes, you need a inline fuse on the positive. Close to the battery end.

Fridge got delivered today. Im gonna just use the lighter-type socket for now and see if my system can handle it. I dont know yet if Ill need more panels or more batteries or both. I have 200watts of panels and about 200ah of batteries so.... 1200 watts to use where theres no sun... my guess... little less considering its not 100%... plus, Ill be using my roadpro to cook. I am soooo ready to make Lasagna. Havent made it since I would waste so much cheese without a fridge to hold leftovers. Yay :)

If you find you need a larger one later you can always relegate the 20 liter one as a freezer.
