That is a GMC / Chevrolet. The GMC brand is a heavy duty version of the Chevrolet. The fact that they did not list a year, and spent $2,000 but did not touch the solar power setup is two red flags.

It looks like a late 90's model, which means they are asking a high dollar for something that will need the solar system to be rebuilt. (and just had it sitting in their garage for many years) That means at least $1,000. panels and batteries.

I would offer no more than 1/2 of asking, and then only if I went over it extremely carefully.

I see now it is a 1993. Still stand by what I said about the solar.

Also check the tires for dry rot. Have them dated and be aware that a good looking tire that is old can blow out the side.

Too much money for a 24 year old truck with a huge motor. That is almost an RV but does not have the space. If you bought an RV the same vintage, the mileage would be about the same and you would have a shower and more storage space.

Your handle is The Ethiopian. Are you an American? I ask only because there are things that need to be explained to someone that has not grown up around American cars almost exclusively.

If you are new to this country, welcome.

I hope this works for you. Average price on that van (High dealer) is only $2,224. You might raise the value a little for the custom interior, but not much.

I'd pass on that last CL listing too. For the same price range, I'd rather get this used RoadTrek, per below link. The below website is for RVs sold in Canada, so I have no idea what the process is for importing a vehicle to the US. The below website does show many, many RVs for sale along with pictures and prices, so at least it gives you an idea of what is available out there for a particular price range.

I don't think that the E350 is a Chinook. I had one and I have seen others on the road. They have a higher roof.
