My good friend has given me permission to camp/squat/homestead on her 10 acre undeveloped property in Oklahoma. There is water on site running through a stream which bisects the property and much game. This the most exciting news I have had yet! Now I have a place to overwinter and set up as a home base for my travels. Things are gradually coming together.

In addition, she has a solar setup which she says I can take with me. This means that after I arrive it will be a snap to build a small pump house to utilize the water and supplement the van's solar power.

There is an old greyhound bus on the land, likely dead and unable to be moved without towing, but it will make a good place to begin homesteading.

I can't wait for the sale of my home so that I can begin this adventure.
