I am hitting the road this morning!

One of my best friends has had a tragedy in her lie and she needs a friend right now. She found a person she considers her "2nd" mother on the floor of her home suffering what turned out to be a stroke. Diane is devastated and does not handle stress well at all. she has always been a worst case scenario  kind of person, but she is like a sister to me. So being a holiday weekend my shop is very slow I cancelled my appointments, only two, one was able to come in yesterday and one was a bit annoyed, and I I sensed attitude, and I admit I gave it right back, this client waited 3 months and I said 1 more week wont kill him, I have a friend that needs me. So my 3 day planned adventure for mon, tues, wed (tues , wed) being the days I am usually closed has been extended to 5 days. Fingers crossed things go well to Diane's, friend. Diane also owns a grooming shop, and I will go help her today, as she as of last night is still an emotional wreck.... sometimes life takes the lead and all you can do is follow.......

Helping out, in whatever capacity i can, has brought me out on the road numerous times. Sometimes a few miles, sometimes clear across the country. Goof for you, travel safe, and the clients that get it, that understand, will tell others ,and more will come to you in droves....

UPDATE:<br /><br />I am in Weatherly PA and a bit out of my normal traveling circle, Diane's friend Ellen is doing much better than yesterday and fingers crossed she will continue to progress, We got Diane Power of Attorney for Ellen, so somebody could make decisions for her, her only brother lives in Germany and all he wanted was a DNR which is a do not&nbsp;resuscitate for those who didn't know, having a para legal background helps me do lots of things for others.&nbsp;We got a emergency&nbsp;notary&nbsp;to come to the hospital on a holiday weekend (Sunday&nbsp;no less) God bless small towns! &nbsp;..... The rush was because of a friend that knew of Diane's friends and immediately said we need "to sell her house and put her in a home"...so Diane was truly&nbsp;panicking. I know enough about the working of the legal system to keep this woman chasing her tail and costing her big time in attorney fees, till she stops. Diane caught her yesterday taking stuff from her home to boot, and the police have been called, some people! it takes all kinds.<br />&nbsp;<br />Anyhow, I am currently parked outside Dianes home, as I write this ans will have Diner tonight, was&nbsp;hoping&nbsp;to do some yard sale-ing but weather is not agreeing in buckets.<br /><br />Last night I laid in bed loving the fresh country smell, that only country space has, I evem smelled a wood stove going...&nbsp;<br /><br />Thanks for all the good vibes!&nbsp;<br /><br />~Autumn<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />&nbsp;<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
