I hope everyone is having a good night. I’m not full-time in the van yet but I am honing my skills. So far part time in the van is going very well. I think once I go full-time  everything will go pretty smoothly. I recommend anyone who’s thinking about living out of van practice first. It  Will make it easier on you  in the long term.  I learned a lot in the last month. Park overnight in the right places. Set your van up for the most practical and livable scenario.  Don’t pack too much. Leave as much floor space as possible you will need it. Other than that, enjoy your life!

Thanks for sharing! I'm about to buy the van and do the same thing! It helps to see someone taking ng the plunge.

Great pics!
It is wonderful you are part timing and honing your skills and what junk you require on the road with you. Way to do it, experiment with it and you find all the right stuff that makes it work wonderful for you!

what is that white case thing under the bed? just curious, for someone I can't figure out what it is LOL

its a cooler on its side
I was wondering, also....I came up with humidifier, cpap or oxygen machine....p.s. a cooler works better upright, LOL. Clever of you to part time to work out any issues beforehand. You'll be a pro when you go full time.

It's a subtle thing, but what Matty has done is to setup his van so that he has a lot of open floor space. That comes at a real premium in a van. Too many people put in so much stuff, cabinets and whatnot, they can barely turn around in the back area. Floor space in a van disappears quickly.

Hello all. Has anyone considered used rubber flex seal as a vapor barrier on the inside of vehicles to help with condensation. It would be applied directly to the metal before anything else.

a cooler on its' side....cool HAHA

it is set up like a nice sized living room in the middle, space to maneuver, good set up for sure!

Before I build my bed, I'm going to find some good quality heavy duty plastic drawer units to go under it.
That way I'll know just how high to build the bed and have the shelves fit snugly underneath.

Would be nice to put the cooler on a rail that could slide out the front or the back.

I'm a newbie .. I can dream, can't I?

TW, I would not go with drawer units, or maybe just on one side. It's easier to just have boxes or totes under the bed which can all be slid out easily, and rearranged at will.

Youtuber CamperVanKevin mounted his big frig under the bed on sliding rails, if you want to look him up.
