^^^^ When I was a rookie firefighter one of the crap jobs was fire extinguisher inspection... 2000 of them all over campus (it was actually a good job to teach us the buildings). I was staring at my clipboard when I was inspection at the Vet Med building, saw my door and the note that the extinguisher was right behind the door. I swiveled into the room and started working on the extinguisher and heard a weird sucking sort of sound behind me; slowly turned around and there was a row of horse backsides facing me with a row of vet students standing behind them up to their armpits in the back end of the horses. Jaw pretty much dropped, quickly finished my work and bolted, felt bad for the horses.

It's called a boom truck because that's what happens when he hits those wires.

Anyone who has fired a .454 Casull knows the recoil, I fired one with a 4 inch barrel, and it was unpleasant. Ruger decide we needed a snub nose .454

Dang! a 8" bbl is loud and a hand full......I might flinch the first time I fired that shorty!!!
Purty though.

My guess is the recoil will be less.  With the same loads, my S&W 329 in 44 mag. with a 2" barrel kicks a LOT less than my Anaconda 44 with a 6" barrel.  Pressures are not as high with the short barrel (the bullet exits the barrel before the powder is completely burned).  The 2" barrel does have an impressive barrel flash when shot at night tho

Once upon a time we were siding a church and a 40' ladder wouldn't reach on one gable, so a couple of the crew backed my step van into position, tossed a couple of sheets of OSB sheathing on the roof, added the ladder and one guy headed up.....OSB has a smooth, waxy surface and a textured side....slippery sides together ain't good - the marker light bar on the front stopped the sheet, but not before the ladder had slipped at least 4'. He was lucky it stopped....next time they ran anchor ropes to the back of the van.....
No wonder I'm gray...

Man, I bet that snubby would be quite a sight at night.
Of course it would probably be the last thing you could see for about an hour!

If you aren't already familiar with Furries kink, probably best to avoid googling the term, it's a major rabbit hole.

"Furry"??? They're going to break the Enola Gay out of the museum and load her bomb bay with bunny rabbits, and drop them on the presidential palace in North Korea???

It just seems wrong...

Things are getting out of hand in the "Stealth Camping in New York City" thread.

I could tell it's not a school bus because he doesn't have those flashing red lights above the windshield (probably doesn't have the swing out stop sign on the driver side either).  Otherwise, I would have never known  :p

Actually a pristine regular black stretch would be the perfect stealth dwelling platform in NY or any big city downtown, wealthy area.

One of the reasons I switched to itty bitty imports was I could still lift the sockets!
