It’s not a salvage title, I think the guy who owned it may have cheated them somehow and they flagged the vin number after they paid to fix it . She switched insurance companies and they didn’t say anything about the wreck before.
Maybe the insurance company paid the shop to do the repair correctly but the owner insisted it be done otherwise and kept the difference and the shop notified the insurance company, look over the repaired area really well.
