I've been following the tribe here for a while and thought I should stop lurking and say "Hi".
Have enjoyed the stories and posts in this and some of the other forums and found some good information. Hope I can return some in the future. I'm only a part-time nomad that needs little excuse to pick up and go somewhere (anywhere). Just gotta return to do the job that pays the bills.
I attached my "workstation" from this last Sunday, I thought it had all the essentials...
desk with a view, task lighting, and coffee was still on.
Hope to make RTR in Jan. have vacation time scheduled already!

Hi Nomad. Welcome to the clan!

Welcome Fireman428

That quite the camping / office set up you have there. What do take pictures of? I love that coffee cup and what are you making coffee on there? Alcohol burner? I have been watching YouTube Video about making Trangia Stoves out of cans... sorry, my mind wanders... lucky devil!

See you in the forums!

Peace,
Bodhi

Thanks everybody for the welcome...
I'll try to answer a couple of the questions.
Bodhi, the "Office" was at the Charleston State Park in Charleston, IN.
I ended up there when I couldn't resolve the conflict between the map and the terrain
for a different campsite. :-(
Daughter-in-law gave me the coffee cup Father's day, said it reminded her of me. And yes the coffee in the picture was still on! I'm actually cooking on a Sterno folding stove that has one of the pop-can alcohol stoves in it. These burn hotter than the Sterno style fuel, and if you buy the denatured alcohol in the larger cans it's cheap. Took less than 2oz to make the 6 cups of coffee. Actually, it was video for a F-book page. Some of "my boys" want me to start posting the things that were taught over the last several years, so here's my attempt, nothing for sell here only information that might be handy.
DAN CORDRAY READINESS RESOURCES on Face book.
And BK2VALVE, Aren't all families a little bit weird???? Thanks all, gotta get ready to go and commit w#@k. ( sorry `bout using a four letter word on the forum)
