Wild E. I keep going back to look at David Ellis range tent http://www.cowboycamp.net/range_tents.php . It has two poles and the video shows some one putting it up. There is an 8X8 and a 10X10 and he makes it look easy on the video. It's a lot of bucks but it's canvas and suppose to be able to take the wind and weather. That would be good for a set up for the 14 day thing or BLM camping.

There will be times I do an over night stay that a cheap pop up would do. I will be driving from the east coast so I think I will need frequent rest stops for me and Luci (if she gets to come with me). I want to enjoy the drive and scenery and have mental clear out time. If the range tent is as easy as it looks I could set up and rest for 2 days then get back on the road again. I found a couple other tents I keep bouncing back and forth on.

I looked at the Cabela xwt tent

http://www.cabelas.com/product/Camp...25345&WTz_l=SBC;BRprd1325345;cat105517980

but it looks like it is difficult to set up. It's shown in snow and is suppose to be pretty good but it is poly some thing or other and for the money it cost it may not last very long. Arrrrg....

I'm not sure where every one is finding the canvas tent deals. I tried to go on Craigs list but I don't think I was on the right link.

I'm still searching, reading, and studying. I hope the links I put in are workable.
