I've been watching Bob's videos. Looking forward to being part of the community. Not currently on the road, but have a tiny Scamp.

I haven't got on the road yet. In considering my rig, I choose not to have any kind of pull along mainly for security reasons getting out and being seen referring to dark time, not day as a single would put me in a vulnerable state of mind and as I plan I take things like that into account.

Welcome andi to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips & Tricks" post lists some helpful information to get you started. We look forward to hearing more from you. highdesertranger

Welcome to the tribe Andi.  Scamps are adorable.  Hope you can get on the road soon, just go for weekends if you can.

Welcome, and best to you in your plans and travels!

Thanks everyone. Yes, hoping to be on the road soon!

Things stopping us: getting rid of stuff, cleaning/selling house, husband doesn't want our 3 mini-dogs in the camper, but I think they'll be fine sleeping in the car. (Or truck; not sure which one we'll use.) Camper probably needs some remodeling. We had it parked at a slant and water got into one of the walls through a window. I think it's caulked up ok now, but we haven't tried tearing the fur off the wall. Don't know what scary things are behind the fur!

Question: How do 2 full-size adults sleep on the almost-full "bed" in the Scamp? Answer: Like sardines in a tin!

The RTR sounds interesting. The build-out-your-van party sounds super-interesting! Will there be another? Actually, can we get help with modifications at the RTR?
