So in the HOWA sweepstakes down in the fine print is this line "Canadian winners will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question as a condition of receiving a prize".

LOL it is really funny!

It all has to do with laws, and loopholes. The Canadian Competition Act bans all games of chance, with the exception of provincial lotteries and those held at licensed casinos. Contest officials figured out long ago that if they require a correct answer to a tricky question as part of their entry, their sweepstakes is no longer considered a game of chance.

:)

LOL !!! What that says is there is no chance someone gambling would be able to answer a math question or see how impossible their odds of winning are!

Question.....what are your chances of winning the Mega Millions Lottery? Very close to the same as not buying a ticket. But at least someone did win it this week :)

Read this line carefully,
"Canadian winners will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question as a condition of receiving a prize".

Keyword and phrase:
"Winners" as in "already chosen as a winner"
"as a condition of receiving a prize"

A math question does not have to be difficult. Mathematical "skill" level can vary. First grade to 12th grade. To infinity and beyond!

An internet search for an answer is so easy, a caveman with web access could do it.
