Gunny Rob, the friend I never got to meet

Just read that Rob left. Too bad. I never got to connect with him first hand. Theres so few of the good old school Vets left.
I wish him well and perhaps our paths will cross some day. If not, I know I can count on him to call the world as he see's it. That's what makes the man.

Dave, Gunny came back but has another name. He is still with us. I talk to him everyday at least once and will make sure he sees your post.

Thanks Dave, those kind words mean a lot to me.

I left for awhile before I typed something that would have gotten me banned. I have a different approach now. I don't contribute too much anymore, just read and reply on occasion.

I get the desire to take a cooling off period and not post all that much. The censorship around here is pretty insane. I understand removing things that are offensive or massively off topic, but lately it seems that anyone that disagrees with the mods gets removed.

Countdown to post removal in 3, 2, 1 ...

PS - I know, private community and all that. I love the community here and I'm not going anywhere, I just oppose censorship in general terms.

I will never apologize for my Patriotism or my love of my country. I won't question anyone's beliefs. This forum is run and owned by Bob Wells, he and I disagree on many issues but it is his bailiwick so when one of my posts gets zapped usually I understand. Some I don't see the reason but hey, who cares.

I have many cyber-friends here and missed them when I left. I could lurk and I could have re-registered showing an ISP from (pick your country) but I would rather be honest.

I'm much more low key now and if that works fine and if not, fine. Time will tell.

I was just coming on board here when I saw and enjoyed your previous articles.
