no shortage of fuel.

not much traffic on the roads.

low fuel prices.

But I would be happier if it was a much more normal spring and summer time with people able to crowd into the campgrounds.
But please hold back the forest fires that were so bad last year.

More than "no shortage," there's a glut of oil. Full tankers are anchored off shore because there's nowhere else to put it. The Russians are feuding with other OPEC countries over production limits, fracking in the US and Canada is producing more oil, then along came the virus and far fewer people are driving.

Meanwhile, I saw $1.95 in northern Tucson today. The first time I've personally seen it below $2 in I don't know how long.

$ 1.65 here in ( southwestern ) part of Virginia. The part KY offered to Annix.

The glut is coming to an end. Today there was announced and agreement between OPEC and Russia to cut oil production. Too bad you don't have any big underground storage tanks or the funds to fill them. But of course that would mean you can only drive as far as half the fuel capacity in your vehicle before returning for a fill-up. ;)

Saw diesel 90 cents higher than reg in Parker AZ. Cheapest diesel I found while out today was $2.34 Tom Wells exit.

I have heard many people say that the USA is not dependant on foreign oil and we are energy independent. That is true of oil or raw petroleum and natural gas; but we have to export much of it to foreign refineries and then bring it back as gasoline and other products.
