Didn't know where to post this..... I vaguely recall hearing/seeing about a large chest fridge (95 qt +) that has both a freezer and fridge side and has a moveable wall so the freezer can expand at the expense of the fridge or vice versa... can't find that darn thing anywhere, anybody know where I can find something like that?

I don’t think the one I saw was that large but I believe it was Australian made if that helps.

Wayne,

Not quite what I was looking for.  I recall and am looking for a dual zone where the zone sizes can be changed.  So when you open the lid you see a fridge section on one side and a freezer section on the other with a moveable wall between them.

For reference, my Whynter portable AC unit is at least 8 years old and performs well.  Hoping to install it in my cargo trailer build.

I know nothing about a monster 95 quart with movable wall between fridge and freezer. I don’t know where I put the thing in my build. I needed a fridge For meds but money was an object so I bought a small one the iceco go 20. there’s plenty of room for my meds plus a few other luxuries like butter and eggs etc. This fridge really works great. right now it’s all refrigerator but it does have a petition that I can put back into separate a small freezer from the refrigerator. I tested that out it works well but the petition only has one place it goes in to create the duel chambers. The weakest point of this great refrigerator is a cigarette lighter plug. It Has to be in exactly the right position or it comes apart. At this point I’m looking for somebody to wire it directly rather than with the cigarette lighter plug. That’s the only thing I don’t like about it. It’s whisper quiet consistent with temperature very well-built and I got a nice padding cover to help insulate it. It also has a Zarfoss compressor which Bob stressed is the best. Guaranteed for five years but how that warranty holds up with a Chinese company I don’t wanna find out. I don’t know why somebody can’t figure out a way to make cigarette plugs That won’t fall out. Have fun in your search. If I got a 95 quart refrigerator I’d have to put a trailer on the back.

they do, one is made by Blue Sea and another by Bosch I believe. they twist lock in but the female socket will fit regular plugs.

my Engels don't fall out. they are even hard to pull out.
