I have a chance to get a late model Ford Transit cargo van at a very good price, due to hail damage. But it has no rear windows, and the real appeal of the Transit (beside height) is the great visibility and light. Can you add windows to the rear doors aftermarket? Can you replace the rear doors reasonably? How would I find out? For that matter, are aftermarket trailer hitches ok?

I'm pretty sure you can. The doors are probably the same as the ones with windows. You would have to find the windows that would fit in that space.
RV dealer/repair shop or DIY

PJgal, there's a company in So Cal, C.R. Laurence. They are a big glaziers wholesaler and work through glass shops, etc. Here's a link for 2010-2013 Transit windows, check it out, call them, etc and perhaps you have a shop that can order for you if you cannot deal direct, which I think is the case, though maybe you pay a retail number then. They may have other years.
Good luck!

Thank you, guys. I got the van (talk about nerves) and I have my body guy helping me figure out windows. I plan to add the rear cargo windows and the passenger sliding door window. Not essential, maybe, but this will make driving easier for me, and hey, I want the light. Now all the rest of the questions, start, lol. Again, thanks for putting me on track.
