Seems like it happens about all the time now... Whether it is cell phone companies, retailers, banks, government, hospitals, school districts... Crazyiness.
I'm technically challenged and somewhat lazy and kept my email and basic two passwords for years until the day I got an email threatening to divulge "whatever" if I didn't pay up... Not that I had saved racy photos to Google, just an attempt to swindle me.
Then they threatened to "divulge" all the emails with documents attached etc.
I finally was able to kill the hotmail and gmail accounts from the eastern european language hackers and now change the passwords every 4-6 months. It's such a pain.
I can't imagine being a mod and dealing with all the spambots and hacking attempts...
