I just noticed yesterday when I was out in my home town of Huntington, WV that there seems to be a bunch of
Shuttle's for sale all of the sudden.   Anyone noticing this in their town ?

I'll try to get some photos later today when I have to go back there.

None of them showing up on Craigs yet.   These were already on Craigs.

Could it be new fiscal year got new rides for some organizations? Now they are putting their old ones on the market.

Yes, when the new models come out around September many of the old ones are sold off.  Hospitals use these to get people from parking lots to the front door of the Hospital,  Universities similar,  City Bus Lines "Dial a Ride" for seniors and handicapped,  Airports,  Malls,  Elder Care facilities use them to transport their people,  and Churches often use them.  I see them used in Industrial areas, and resorts as well.

Usually after 5 years if it runs well without any troubles the accountants have written it off the books (capital equipment)  and they sell it for what they can get out of it and apply that to a new purchase. (knowing better than to "trade in")  Always better to buy new as a straight sell without a trade in.

So recently my home town seems to have had a bunch of them brought here.  I'm not sure where they came from or why "here" unless they figure that some will want to convert them to RV's.  OR small congregational Churches will buy them.

I've got some photos,  just need to post them.
