I had a doh moment recently, when I purchased a 700W microwave and neglected to check the input spec, 1050W, which exceeds the inverter I'm using by 50W, but I have a 2000W MSW back home, but it's not a PSW.

I have a builtin Onan, supposedly 4KW, 1989 vintage, maybe I imagined the 4KW. It really grunts and groans when the 1050W microwave is on, just as much as it did with the 1989 Kenmore microwave.

Post #1 that generator, besides being out of stock now, three years later, also has this limitation:
"High altitude use: Sportsman dual fuel inverter generator is not recommended for high altitude use above 3,000'"

That's a bit limiting.

I used to run a GMC pickup on Propane and really liked it. But it does make the oil smell funny and it will never darken the oil. But running on propane will attack flys and insect to it, they like the smell on it.

Yes I had thre Sportsman 2200 gas unit and it had the same disclaimer. I used it at over 8000 feet up by Rico Colorado and had no issues or problems. I have an lp gas 3500 watt generator that carries the same tag. Go figure.

My Sportsman works fine at over 5000 feet.
