No problems fitting some of the things I design and make into a very small space. This 8 building village set weighs under half an ounce  :D
There are actually now 48 unique buildings in the village series but this photo of the ones I designed in 2016 gives a pretty good idea of their size.

Funny title,

I heard "tiny houses" were popular!

very cool, so tiny!!

tiny things are hard for me, I find them as annoying cause they are just so tiny to get your hands on to dust or whatever LOL I lose tiny things all the time :)

Sure, that house would be nice to have, but could you imagine how much you'd have to pay to heat it in the winter??

Just don't try heating it with a tea light candle unless it is an LED. Those flower pot real flame tea light heaters might set it on fire ;)

Just think about all the fuel I can buy with the income I made from making them. Today I sold enough of them to pay for the diesel fuel to heat my RV for all day long for 3 months. But since I plan to be in Arizona for the coldest months I won't need heat all day long everyday.

Now those are REAL TINY HOUSES! Have you rhought of advertising making & coloring peoples real homes in tiny form from pics they sent? I bet many would pay well to have a mini on the mantel in a glass or acrylic case.

What you don't realize or understand is that what I am doing is a vastly more profitable for the labor hours and materials invested than taking commission work. It is also more fun, more creative and less stressful than commissioned model making work.

People age and with age you might get wisdom but you also sometimes get physical issues too.
I have retinal damage which happened in 2015. Fortunately it is not macular degeneration and I have had surgery to arrest the damage. However it makes it very difficult to work on very tiny objects such as you are suggesting. So even if I wanted to do it, which I don't, then I could not easily make tiny models of people's houses. The retinal damage means that there is no such thing as a straight line in my world, there are only wavy lines. The center focal point when I look at tiny details is blurred, I can only see clearly away from the center of my vision. Magnifying glasses are not useful because you are still looking at the center point and that center point is what is blurred because of physical damage in my eyes. So I would have to focus an HD video camera on the object I am working on and display it on a monitor to get the displayed image of the object further away where I have a wider field of vision and then look at the monitor instead of looking directly at the object I am working on.

I have no problem designing my own original work as that is done on the computer. I use a computer driven machine that cuts in .025 mm of precision so making the kits I sell is not a problem. I can work on larger objects, just not on the tiny micro sized ones without the use of a video camera setup. I  let my customers do the assembly and decorating part of the job.
