When we traveled with a dog it was so much more limiting. Couldn't take them in anywhere.

My 2 cents. Just remember to exercise her mind as well. You'll have a lot of acting up if her mind is not challenged. There's a lot on YT about this. The couple that lives downstairs from me (I am just finishing up my van build now) has a BC and they very successfully used a clicker to train her. Everything except herding that is. But he is unbelievably well behaved and they both work all day with the dog @ home - 3 years old now. They actually gave him wooden puzzles that you give kids and he will show you where the square or circle or triangle goes. They made a point to not give him treats when he does well but praise him so he doesn't go nuts over food. You'd swear he can read your mind. He's a cool dog.
