Very happy with my Crown GC2 220ah choice after about a year of use. My power needs are relatively small compared to what I've read on other's requirements. Sometimes after 4 or 5 days of use (no solar) & 60%-70% SOC I'll plug in to genny or post and with the help of a ProMariner 12/50 Charger am topped off according to it & the Victron BMV700 battery monitor in less than two hours. I too thought that you needed AGM due to battery location, which is my reason as well (well that and a physical affliction).
 
I purchased my two T105s for $119 + tax locally. You need to shop around!
 
Yes OP has stated repeatedly AGMs are required.

Obviously pricing varies greatly depending on the dealers near you.
