Been awhile since I posted here but I saw this insulated tent that looks like it would be good for staying warm.  Don't have the link but it's called the Crua Cocoon.  Company is Crua Outdoors out of Ireland.  Has an airframe that you can quickly pump up.  Looks like it would fit well in a Previa which is what I'm going to try.  Pump it up at night, set it aside during the day and set up a camp chair in the Previa.  Has the added advantage of blocking light so you could have a light on inside and no one would be the wiser.  They sell in the U.S. too.  Not affiliated in any way, just like the idea to stay warm.  Saw a test they ran on YouTube on one of their bigger tents.  29F outside and in high 50's inside using a very small heater to simulate body heat.  I would imagine the smaller Cocoon inside a van would be pretty comfortable.
