Ummm... "VD" Forum? Perhaps a different nickname is in order  :dodgy:

Thank you for the laugh. I have to go into my (now exceedingly stressful) job today and I really appreciate it.

My Dad has done variations on his regular cornbread, cooked in his cast iron skillet, sometimes putting in onions, sliced bell peppers, sweet peepers, crumbled sausage, etc. Basically the cornbread is a basis for any flavored dish you want. Experiment and have fun!

Gonna try graybeard's version next week in Nevada, thanks Dave. How's it going back east?

Weather is nice and the river is soothing.  Van upgrades - Radiator, water pump, t-stat, oil cooler, wtr. temp gauge, wheel bearings, heater core all in and working, front bushings and new rear springs on the way, hot oil undercoating next week.

Corn bread goes great with my Boston Baked Beans.

And if it falls apart above 3000 feet, add another tablespoon of flour and one more egg. Makes all the difference at 6500 feet.
