I know that this is not a good time to talk about cooling fan. I just read some posts here that reminded me of my cooling fan. I built the fan with copper wire on the fan. I got the motor and tubes to run ice water through the wire. But it doesn't not make much difference in the temperature. Anyone here can tell me what I have done wrong. Thanks.

My guess would be that you need to regulate the amount of water flowing through the tubing.

I'd like to give some input, but do not understand the following:

"I built the fan with copper wire on the fan. I got the motor and tubes to run ice water through the wire."

I just don't know how one can make water run thru a wire.  Did you run the water thru a copper tube that was coiled on the output of the fan?  If so, how was the wire involved?
