We had an 88 Ford 150 conversion van - standard style conversion - and probably got abpt 18 - 20 highway.

Our current RV has a HIGH camper top - with a sleeper extension over the cab - and we get 13 - 15 highway. It's also equipped like a house, so there's a great deal of additional weight.

I'm confused with this thread...I'm not a techie. I am looking for a van for summer travel (Slab City in the summer was ROUGH!). So is 18-20 highway realistic for e-con vans? Also, would LOVE to see inside pics of this lovely van pictured, although the gas mileage on that is not much better than my Southwind, which I will leave parked in the desert cuz I'm looking for stealth.

Have considered a lumina and other type vans, but with two big dogs, that might be a bit cramped. Sigh. Hard to make a decision. I need help...Steve, where are you? LOL
