thanks for the links Cyndi. this really doesn't surprise me anymore because the way I see it the whole environmental thing has gone from doing good to lining certain peoples pockets with money. highdesertrager

Excellent info. Kind of like what is "fat free"? Compostable bags are better than biodegradable, but you still need to look for that stamp of approval, or you might get fooled into spending a lot of money on something that doesn't break down like it ought to.
