Are there any NON- CRADLE versions in that price range? Have some interest in making a solution for a ONSTAR system that is built into the mirror assemble in a vehicle. This can’t use a cradle. Have seen some that will repeat the signal if the two antennas are far enough apart.

There is a RV version and I have seen a version that uses what is called a Hershey bar antenna that was intended for between the seats. The thing is the repeated signal is so weak that you really need to literally be touching the repeater to get the same boost that you do out of a cradle. 6 inches was all I could get a device away from the repeater in the RV version before the signal dropped dramatically. So you can do it if you can work around those limitations.

Understood about being close enough. But do not see the refurbished RV version available in any amazon searches. The RV version full price is well over $500 and not interested in that. Thanks for the comments Jim.

I've checked out your website. Good info. And that antenna, boy howdy, I YT'd that right away! So simple and I love me some TV.
For some reason the vid on "how to get cheap internet on the road" says unavailable

So many of the options have changed that the video is no longer relevant.

You can still get a refurbished Wilson drive cradle model for $127 here

ebay link for wilson drive

I helped someone set up the newest version recently. The differences are that the booster has been separated from the cradle and as far as I can tell it will be harder to set it up with a directional antenna as the cords have changed. (still might be possible) It cost $199

I have the WeBoost, cable and antenna but don't know which connector is needed. Anyone have a good Amazon link for the connectors or part number? TIA
