Thanks for posting the UOA. It looks good. What is your oil change interval for the transfer case and differential(s)? Ditto for coolant and brake fluid. I recently picked up an AWD Sienna which is going to be my version of a camping van. Had 74K on the odometer so I went ahead and had the transmission fluid flushed. Next for me to do is the drivetrain oil, i.e. the transfer case and rear differential. Coolant is okay, but will probably change that out this summer. Hope to take some of my first trips this Spring. I enjoy reading your entries.

Thanks. This was my first round, so we’ll see from here.

Some dummy bent a rudder on the boat, no it wasn’t me.

So I did a tour around my city. I wanted to get stamps for my National Parks, they were closed. I’ll go tomorrow and get the passport stamp.

Chalmette National Cemetery.

There’s a part of Nola where all the vanlifers hangout. They have some interesting rigs.

I may go out tonight. We’ll see.

...Anyway, I worked on my rear bumper some more. The steel I could have bought for $100. But what's better than that? Old barge and boat steel.

It will have a rear tire carrier and cargo boxes when it's all said and done.
Nice bumper I want one. Mine also has a beauty mark but not quite that big.  -crofter

Thanks!

I just got laid off. No big deal, comes with the territory.

So I’m on the job hunt. Stayed 2 blocks from the French Quarter last night.

Left Nola, went to Morgan City, which is a couple hours away.

My van down by the river.

If nothing comes up, I’ll be headed home tomorrow.

I like your van but I think an alien ship is landing on top between your solar panels. Never saw an antenna like that - what'ssup?

Another night (3rd night) in Morgan City. Hopefully my last until next week.

Night before last I parked in Walmart parking lot and didn’t get any sleep. It’s was super loud.

After getting a physical and MRI, I treated myself to Parish Brewing. They have a beer called Ghost in the Machine that’s wonderful. In the tap room only, you can get double hopped version. Yummy.

Last night I opted for a more remote, quiet spot.

A van down by the river.

Love the pictures. I've been in the AZ desert off grid 98% of the time for the past month, and all youtubers have a bazillion pictures of this area. Nice to see some of the other half, :).

Thanks. I usually travel in the south and east coast. I do make a once a year trip west, but stay mostly southeast.

I’m scheduled to get off around the 4-5th of next month. I’ll post some pics later this week. I should be passing through New Orleans on the river in the next couple days.

Do you travel with your significant other much of the time, or mostly do solo trips? I'm enjoying your photos and commentary by the way.

I travel usually for work. If I have to drive to the office, which I’m an independent contractor, so I change companies a lot.

My wife goes on trips with me all the time. But mostly we do yearly big trips and weekends in the summer. It’s winter so I’m grinding it out.

Headed back after getting 4 days off.

Saw this guy in the Walmart parking lot in Mobile, Al. It was very loud and would suggest other places than there.

Hanging out in Mobile. We’re in the shipyard, I may try to make it to Pensacola to hit up the NP there tomorrow.

What is the purpose of having two different sizes of rudder? And who is the cardboard person? I am guessing someone famous I should know.

Seems there's a niche business for everything these days. "Coffee Gear For Your Adventure"?

One has half of it knocked off. They have to fix that lol.

And that’s Connor McGregor. The famous UFC fighter. The cardboard cut out was to promote his horrible tasting Irish whiskey.
