What a great forum! This is my first day and first question, super friendly and helpful responses. Thanks.
I like it here myself. I'm glad you do as well.

One thing I do find is that we can occasionally be very curt with one another. Especially if there are differences of opinion. Nature of the beast I'm afraid. Body language doesnt convey very well over the internet it seems. :p

What a great forum! This is my first day and first question, super friendly and helpful responses. Thanks. The power station I decided on is the WattFun 500 Wh, $390 on Amazon. It has pass-thorough power and is cheaper than the Jackery for the same capacity. I'm on a budget, so can't always get the top of the line stuff. But I do research a lot. So, based on all your advice, I will not try any fancy vehicle wiring, and will buy a clip-on USB light (I prefer directional lighting over lantern-type.)
Sounds like you're on your way!
