Not free, but most will allow you to work a couple of hours for your site

Campinmygarden.com is the first and only website advertising private gardens as micro-campsites; providing accessible, affordable and fun alternatives to traditional accommodation around the world."

Cool site! The location in San Angelo, TX is by a guy I used to know when attending high school... Interesting.

When I first read the title of this thread I thought to myself OMG this is misplaced and should be moved to the Dating Site For VanDwellers section.

The site seems to have European places, I didn't see any American.  The first one I looked at charges $40 per person per night.

I found a site in the same city as me that charges $15 a night. Not a ton of American sites but maybe it can grow. Cool concept.

I found a site in Ohio, but it doesn't have the PetFriendly sign. :(

Bruce. if you type in United States in the *location* window it gives locations all over North America.

In the upper left hand corner of the map there's a place to zoom in so you can see more

Europe has always been way ahead of the United States when it comes to cheap travel. The number of hostels, couch surfing, and airBnb opportunities far surpass what's available over here. Maybe one day we'll catch up.
