I tried burning cow patties when I was young. I didn't cook on them we just wanted to see if it was true and they would burn. and yes they burn rather well once you get a nice coal bed going. highdesertranger

Cat hole. Just cat hole it.

From disposing of, to cooking on human feces. How did that happen?

People are always trying to make things more difficult than they need to be.

Since I have no sense of smell (surgery by incompetent doctor when I was a kid); I might consider doing it if I was boondocking away from anyone else (might keep any bears/predators away with the smell, lol --- bonus).

Seriously, this option would probably come after all other options (including burial) weren't available

Good Point, this thread migrated from burning human feces, to cow patties?

Let's get rid of the topic all together!!!!

Before it's closed/hidden/?? I will admit I have used dried moose and rabbit feces coated in parafin as fire starters --- dried there was little smell (I'm told) and they're pellet or bean sized so a few go a long way.

Again, vegetarians

les the survivor man says burning chips keeps flys away. i watched an episode where he actually did it and it worked.

Not sure who here has actually burned up human waste in the amounts we are talking about. I have burned up to a weeks worth of waste(2people) and I didn't smell anything. I wasn't standing in the smoke, but there was not the odor that some people are referring to. The waste was in cedar chips, so this may explain it. Only way I'll do it again is if there is ample wood around to keep fire burning hot until waste is incinerated.

i never actually have but i knew a lot of Viet combat vets who told me about it

My first post on this thread and I think I'm going to have to take sides with Cammalu.

Lets just sum up with ...Yes , it will burn !

Yay!!! Another one on my side!
