Best Travel Credit Card

Before you panic I pay my monthly bill in full and have not paid interest for over 20 years.
I do co up to Canada and eventually Mexico and sometimes Europe when I can afford it.

The currency conversion is expected for any purchase in a foreign currency. No problem there.
A Bank of America card was charging ME a 3% foreign transaction fee on each purchase,

When I realize this I switched to a no foreign transaction fee card called the Bank Of America Travel Card. (name is sure to change in a week

Can anyone recommend a better card that does not charge foreign transaction fees which I should consider?

All of the big Canadian banks now have a US presence but not all have storefront locations in the US.

TD Bank is about the largest of them all, boasting 1300 locations in the US. The others are CIBC and Royal Bank.

I suggest you try there for international banking services.

I do the opposite of you. As a Canadian, I have access to a US dollar credit card, bank account and debit card through a Cdn banks US affiliate. When I cross the border each fall, my Cdn dollar cards go away and the US ones go in my wallet. I do an electronic transfer as needed from my cdn bank account to my US account and then pay my bills, get cash back, use the charge card as needed.

No help for overseas and Mexico, not sure if there is any work around for it at all!

I never thought of that. Last time I was in Mexico I always had cash on hand. I was a teen with no credit card. Thanks for opening my eyes to this and the banks.

I seem to vaguely remember reading that the Europeans want a PIN # to go along with your credit card (which **I** certainly don't have for any of my cards), so I Googled it and found this:
