BEANS..BEANS..THE MUSICAL FRUIT!

How do they taste? I have a bag of these that I have not gotten around to cooking yet. Black beans are my absolute favorite!

They're almost sweet, with the same texture as pinto beans. They also don't take long to cook from being dry. 

I like to add a small can of diced green chiles (mild or hot) to my black beans to give them a little kick. Most markets carry them, Hatch or Ortega brand.

Just got back from Dollar Tree here in Flagstaff...refried black beans and tortillas...YUM YUM !
Will make fresh 'pico de Gallo' and add sharp Cheddar cheese and chopped Cilantro. Eat this with two Root Beers!! ...sounds like a meal to me... !
I love black beans too...sweet and earthy taste!
