Hey all!


Steve from Australia here, I've landed in LA two weeks ago and procured myself a 2007 Ford E-250.

I'm looking at turning it into a camper to take south, to Chile to be exact, over the next 18 months.

I've travelled long distance by foot and by motorbike, but this rv life is all new so expect some simple questions. Now if you'll excuse me I'll finish off another day searching through every thread on this forum!

So far it's all been a bit overwhelming, staying in USA and starting a project like this, but it looks like it'll be a lot of fun.

One of the cool things about RTR gatherings is that there are usually offers of assistance in doing a build.
Plus, cost of living is cheaper and camping near enough to town to get supplies easily. Flagstaff has about anything you might need, yet kind of a small town attitude that makes it quite enjoyable.
