Astro w/fantastic vent?

I'm looking to put a fantastic vent on my astro https://www.etrailer.com/Enclosed-Trailer-Parts/Fantastic-Vent/FV801200.html Was curious if anyone has done this? The top of the roof has some corrugation and I wasn't sure if you could mount the vent over that stuff or if you need a flat surface? Any input or advice appreciated. Happy times!

There should be a square flat surface on the roof just for this purpose.  Here is a picture of an Astro roof where a vent is being installed:

Generally you use multiple layers of putty tape to fill in the valleys. It should be slightly overfull so it's compressed when you screw the vent down. Then use Dicor to make sure their are no gaps.

My roof is corrugated, I just did what Bob suggests. I made it through several months of heavy rains in Florida without a drop getting in.
