Is there any other vintage owners here?
I’m having a hard time with posting pics but I’m hoping posting a link to my fb page will enable people to see pics of my
Superfunky & cute 1978 class A Dodge motorhome, ‘Wilma’
Completely re-done inside!
Lots of mechanical has been rebuilt as well.

I’m hoping to make it down to quartzite and area this year and make some new friends
Hope this works!

well I wish you could do pics because I don't do face book. I drive a 1978 Chevy 1 ton 4x4. highdesertranger

Thats cute and I painted mine light inside too. Really opens a space up

Nothing "vintage" about mine just worn out, rebuilt built mostly, worn out, you get the idea. Evetually I get to a point I just put up with the little things and continue to use the heck out of it. It is amazing how long some of the old well built stuff lasts. !978 Jeep Truck with lots of different pieces.

Your rig is adorable, Kirsten! Very unique, bright and pretty. I might try something like that too if I had any knowledge of how to fix mechanical things. I remember back in the early 70's ... out hitchhiking and seeing all the big Winnebagos passing us by. At the time, they were kind of a new thing, but there was a lot of them.

Very nice!! I love the message on the padlock, good stuff.

I’m not handy at all anymore, I used to be when I was younger, I took automotive and shop classes in high school, but I have a feeling Wilma is going to force me into being handy again lol.

Yeah vintage is just kind of a fancy word for
‘Worn out’ but still looking passable and it’s functional (mostly) ?

Believe it or not, this was one of a very few Dodge ‘Sprinter’ I think they only made a few as the original design wasn’t that great, but it’s awrsome now!!

Thank you! That padlock was on a fence at a road pull out along the road to Tofino, that was my 50th birthday two years ago when I took that pic :)

So cute!

I have a 1989 Dodge Class B, Xplorer model. Spent years on the mechanics then started on the rest. She's mostly a hightop camper van as we always boondocked so there were RV-type stuff we didn't fix. Now we're doing a cargo trailer and putting the B up for sale in the spring and then taking off for this fun life (planning it together for 30 years, longer individually AND IT'S ALMOST HERE)
