Hi Vanfan. I do get a little bit of overspray even using the linen shower curtain, but it's easily wiped up with my towel. That's why I put a vinyl floor in instead of laminate or carpet. My gray tanks are just two Reliance 6 gallon jugs from Wally.

For a quick shower unit and not to hard to get I have used a 5l garden spray, just bend the wond gently or it will brake,or
use a helton unit /glind unit,
google for a look see.some of the guys in 4x4 club i belong to have these units fitted.these units will give you an idea as to how to set up one using the heater in your vehicle.

I have fitted to the tray of my ute a caravan water tank and fittings
and carry a hose and 4way tap.

Here is the off the shelf unit . http://www.helton.com.au/
mentioned in the post above . Play the vid on the left side , and then look at the related vids for some really cool other ideas for hot water !

I recently installed that model Ecco temp shower at a cabin- it seems to be ok so far, but it requires a minimum of 20 psi water pressure, so a pump is needed also. This model needs to be used outside- there is a 12L model(4 more Litres of flow per min) that can be installed inside and vented out for around $175.
Best pricing I found was at Amazon
