I'm parked under a tree in my driveway here in Florida and I still manage to get out of bulk and into absorption most days. If I don't, it doesn't matter.

I consider that VERY good news.
One of my biggest questions about solar is the performance in the real world. I think we all know the specs when we buy one are fluff to sell them. That is ideal lab conditions stuff not what actually happens when you put one on the roof of an RV. So if you are parked under a tree in Florida and you get a good result that makes me feel I haven't wasted my money.
I have only just received my panels and haven't hooked them up yet.  [/font]

I have the panels hooked up in parallel or I wouldn't be getting squat where I'm parked. Parked in the driveway isn't really "real" world data but when I was camped around Williams AZ in the pines it made a huge difference to have them wired that way. I only had full sun on both the panels (at the same time) part of the day

I'm thinking about pulling the batteries out of the van and bringing them inside till I can get some AC in there.
Excess heat is bad news

My panels will all be in parallel. I bought 2 x 4 way Y connectors. So I am ready for many more panels to be added.
