So cruising around the forum categories I found this number near the bottom... wow. 338 score & 10. 6770 forum members (and how many readers?). We'll be at 7000 members before the year ends I'm sure. The thought of the nearly countless number of people that were, and continue to be, assisted within these pages warms the cockles of my heart.

with 30 new members in the past week, at this rate the year end total membership will be more than 8000

So here we are not quite 6 months later and now with 8000 members! Gee willickers, did I underestimate this!

And how many times have you registered under different pseudonyms, Mr Rick? Can you guess on a breakdown? My guess is:

- 7995 dreamers
- 5 "true nomads" following the Bob Way

OTOH, there are about 7,000,000 people who own an RV, and not many are likely to be doing it the Bob Way. Rather they mostly bring it all along with them, TV, microwave, hot showers, 40' ClassA, electric levelers, reclining easy chairs, etc.

As an anecdote, last Feb I went to the fish fry at the American Legion hall in Bombay Beach and almost everyone had come from the nearby RV parks and resort spas up on the hillside. I told some of them about my van, and they thought I was an alien, outer space type. People from the spa were actually running the fish fry, and I noticed their friends all got more french fries than me.
