5 year vanniversary
http://www.van-tramp.com/wp/5-years/

OK, so “vanniversary” may not be the most appropriate term anymore but I am sticking with it anyway. It was on this date in 2011 that I started living full time in the van. I started what would become my 2012 year of travels by heading South, out of Colorado, to warmer climate of New Mexico and Arizona. Today, December 28, 2016 marks my 5th year as a full-timer of living on the road. A lot of things have changed in the past two years, but a full-timer I still am.

I wont bore you with reminiscing of my past – can you do that yourself with this blog – instead I will taunt you with a picture of the day that my son and I took our very first trip in the van, way back in early 2010. How things have changed since then…

I look forward to the day I can say the same. Congratulations!!!

I started following your travels long before I joined the forum. You and a couple of guys on RVNet were the ones that steered me to full time. For that I thank you. I hope you have many more safe travels, my friend.

A nice pic to remember what your son looked like when he was little , and what the van looked like when it was BLUE !
I can't remember where I was at the 5 year mark but it was on a stage ...somewhere...

I can remember that first long trip , my first time south of Massachusetts !
I left Maine just after New Year's Day 1981 to the warmth of San Antonio TX. ,then in late Feb. to even warmer Tucson AZ. and a trip to the (just as cold as Maine) Grand Canyon , then hot Punta Gorda FL. for a month and then back here to Maine in late April just in time for the last snow ,23"! Arrrrrrggghh.
