By the way. I was able to find out more info about my Stinger SPV44 second battery, now that I found the model number from my invoice. This is a deep cycle 1320 watt 12 volt dry cell valve regulated AGM lead acid battery. Standby use is at 13.8 volts. Instructions say to never discharge battery below 10.5 volts. A PDF manual says 11.6 volts for Open Circuit Voltage corresponds to 0% State of Charge. I'm interpreting this to mean I should not let the battery go lower than between 11.6 to 10.5 volts. Now I know what you guys mean by not draining the second battery to a certain voltage level. I thought I could drain the battery down to 1.0 to 2.0 volts, duhhh! My bad!
